NIGHT REEF & WRECK FISHING
(YEAR-ROUND)
Nothing is more exciting than a productive night spent fishing the nearshore wrecks and reefs just off the Southwest Florida Coast. Night fishing these areas offers some of the best Snapper and Grouper action to be had. Cobia, giant Barracuda, Sharks, Amberjack, and even some other occasional visitors including Bonito and Blackfin Tuna can all be had on a single night.
When it comes to bringing home top-notch table fare there isn't much than beat a nice cooler of Mangrove, Yellowtail, Mutton, and Red Snappers. Red and Gag grouper, Cobia, and the occasional mackerel will also make an appearance on night trips to these waters. A good rule of thumb for fishing offshore reefs and wrecks, especially at night, is you really never know what you will hook into. For specific trips targeting large sharks, please see our Monster Shark Fishing Trip.
This trip is is one o the most exciting that you can take, however being out on the water at night, especially out of sight of land, can be nerve wracking to some. Please make sure you are comfortable being out on the water at night. Captain Tom always operates his vessel with the utmost care and caution, and will do what everything he can to make sure you are comfortable while onboard.
These trips are extremely dependant on weather. If a decision is made to cancel your offshore night trip due to weather, we will be happy to offer you the option of fishing a different location inshore, Shark Fishing, or canceling your trip with a full refund. Please see our Weather Policy for more information.
