October deep sea trips have been great so far. Full limits of Red and Gag Grouper as well as Mangrove and Yellowtail Snapper has been the norm. A host of other species including Cobia, Blackfin Tuna, and others are always welcome unexpected guests. The weather has been great, and fishing pressure is very low this time of year. Short runs of 30 miles or so have been all it takes to fill the box with quality fish, often without a single boat in sight all day! Take advantage of great fishing before the crowds return for the winter and you certainly won’t be disappointed.
